Viper Secruity's Airport and Aircraft Security Services Division provides specialized transportation security services to port and airport authorities, select airlines, and the federal government. Thanks to local community support, outstanding sponsors, and attendance from across SoCal, the Festival attracted more than 22,000 visitors and quickly established itself as one of the best community beach festivals in the region. For the safety of everyone entering the festival, all patrons were subject to a metal detecting wand and all personal items, bags, purses, backpacks were searched upon entry and re-entry. 

Take a normal surf contest and add a cowboy twist and what do ya get? Surf Rodeo!  Of course this was brought up over a few beers and some hair brain ideas... Back in 1997 J.D. and his friends thought "Why not put a spin to the boring contests?" Over the years we have added a mechanical bull, from 3 bands to over 30, Bikini Cowgirl Contest (and now Bikini Cowboy), The World's Biggest Beach Bar (Ventura only), The Biggest Cornhole Tournament on the Sand... and so much more! The #1 purpose of the Surf Rodeo is to just have FUN!
